The Founder

Marie-Claude Valiquet

Founder Marie-Claude (MC) Valiquet recently completed her first year at Ryerson University Theatre School in Technical Production. She graduated from Canterbury Arts High School in Ottawa after four years of intensive studies in acting and technical theatre.

Her most recent Ryerson credits include:

  • apprentice/assistant stage manager and production assistant for Miracle Man (2008); and
  • production assistant for Lion in the Streets (2007).

Past Canterbury credits include:

  • stage manager and lead role (Angelo) in Measure for Measure (2007);
  • director for a workshop of Some Girl(s) by Neil LaBute;
  • assistant stage manager, Cappies nominee for sound design and production assistant for The Wizard of Oz (2006); and
  • director and producer of Unleashed Realities, a collection of David Ives (2006).

Marie-Claude has been involved in theatre, radio and television since she was four years old. Persistent and dedicated, MC hopes to one day own a theatre school. Until such time, she will continue to challenge herself and enrich her life with new innovative projects. Launching Vision Visage Productions this year is just the beginning of what she hopes to be the start of a successful career in the arts in Canada.
